Nature in your Neighborhood
This series explores how we can find all sorts of plants, animals and insects even in our concrete bound neighborhoods. Watch videos about finding nature nearby.
Sutro Stewards and the City Nature Challenge 2020
On April 24th to May 3rd, the California Academy will be holding the annual City Nature Challenge. You will be able to make observations from April 24th to April 27th and then identify what you have found from April 28th to May 3rd. The event will run a little different this year with the shelter-in-place. Hear all about the changes and how you can participate still on San Francisco! We are sad we cannot be together for a bioblitz on Mount Sutro but we encourage you to still go out in your homes and neighborhoods and make observations!
