Plants for Sale

Take home locally sourced California native plants to enjoy in your own backyard! We have a variety of native plant including many drought-tolerant species perfect for colorful and low maintenance backyard habitat. Our plants are best suited for outdoors only.



Plants from the Mount Sutro Native Plant Nursery are available at seasonal plant sales, next sale is Saturday, February 8, 2020, or on Wednesdays 9:30-12:30, or by appointment. Email our Nursery Manager at to confirm species availability or schedule a specific pickup time.


Mount Sutro Native Plant Nursery is located at 476 Johnstone Drive. Parking is free during program hours on Wednesday mornings, park ONLY in the spaces directly above the nursery marked "Aldea Center Parking Only." Bring a box to carry out plant pots.
