Corporate Team Building Service Projects
Bring your team out for a service project on Mount Sutro to discover and contribute to this one-of-a-kind open space in the heart of San Francisco. Work with our team on conservation, nursery, and trail projects to accomplish meaningful work outside of the office. Receive guidance from our staff and crew leaders for a safe and rewarding experience.

Details
-
Schedule a 2-hour event, Wednesday through Saturday, for up to 30 participants (ideal size 10 - 20)
-
​All necessary tools, gloves, and equipment required to accomplish the project will be provided
-
Trained staff and crew leaders will provide an orientation, safety talk, work demonstrations, and guidance throughout the event
-
A range of activities will be available for all skill and comfort levels. Activities may include propagating or transplanting plants in our on-site nursery, removing invasive weeds, planting native vegetation in habitat restoration and conservation sites, and building and maintaining our five-mile trail network

Engagement Levels
Steward: Join us for an in person volunteer event or join us for our virtual opportunity, Nature in your Neighborhood, scheduled on a day of your choosing. We suggest a minimum donation of $25 per person for the event. As a donating Steward, your company will be listed on our website, and you will be recognized in our monthly e-newsletter.

Donor: Don’t have time to come out for a volunteer project? Make a donation to support stewardship and educational efforts on Mount Sutro, or consider donating through your workplace giving program. Donors will be recognized on our website.

Sutro Stewards is a project of the San Francisco Parks Alliance, a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible. You may request a fee waiver if your organization is a non-profit or otherwise unable to contribute to event costs.

Cancellation Policy
We ask that groups follow through with their commitment for the day, time, and the number of volunteers. Please communicate any changes as soon as possible. In the event that you must cancel or reschedule your project, please provide a week minimum notice.
