Touch Grass: An Environmental Conservation Program for Corporations
Bring your team out for a service project on Mount Sutro to discover and contribute to this one-of-a-kind open space in the heart of San Francisco. Work with our team on conservation, nursery, and trail projects to accomplish meaningful work outside of the office. Receive guidance from our staff and crew leaders for a safe and rewarding experience.

Details
-
Schedule a 3-hour event, Wednesdays or Thursdays 9:30am-12:30pm - Every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month 8:30am-12:30pm, (Friday volunteer programs are available per request) for up to 30 participants (ideal size 10 - 20)

​All necessary tools, gloves, and equipment required to accomplish the project will be provided

Trained staff and crew leaders will provide an orientation, safety talk, work demonstrations, and guidance throughout the event

A range of activities will be available for all skill and comfort levels. Activities may include propagating or transplanting plants in our on-site nursery, removing invasive weeds, planting native vegetation in habitat restoration and conservation sites, and building and maintaining our five-mile trail network

Sutro Stewards is a project of Livable City, a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible. You may request a fee waiver if your organization is a non-profit or otherwise unable to contribute to event costs.

Cancellation Policy
We ask that groups follow through with their commitment for the day, time, and the number of volunteers. Please communicate any changes as soon as possible. In the event that you must cancel or reschedule your project, please provide a week minimum notice.
