About the event
Mount Sutro's forest is in a state of transition. Executive director, Ildiko Polony will guide us through the centuries old trails and tell the story of Mount Sutro from grasslands and sand dunes, to eucalyptus plantation. Where is the land headed now that active stewardship is taking place for the first time in close to 100 years? A rediscovered creek, butterfly corridors, fairy houses and a cave will be just a few of the attractions!
Meet at the Stanyan Street Steps at Stanyan and 17th street. See you there!
