About the event
Spot the migratory changes in bird life during this autumn season. Warblers and Ruby-crowned Kinglets and more will be passing through, refueling after raising young during the summer in other locations. The native habitat that has been conserved on Mount Sutro by volunteers and staff provides fruit, insects and shelter for the hungry travelers.
Meet at the Aldea Center at 10 AM for a walk along the Fairy Gates Trail and Woodland Canyon and the Historic Trail. The walk will be along well-maintained trails that are relatively narrow and require sure footing. The walk is appropriate for persons ten years of age and older. Bring binoculars, if you have them.
Bathroom facilities are available at the Aldea Center.
