About the event

This event is reserved for high risk groups, volunteers over the age of 60 or with underlying health conditions. Please RSVP for this event to be able to attend. Limit of 5 participants per event.

Note: If you do not fall in the at risk category described above, please register for our Thursday morning volunteer program.

Come join us for a morning in habitat restoration activities such as weeding, mulching and native planting and work towards our mission of building community, connecting people with nature, and protecting and enhancing Mount Sutro, one of the city’s wildest and most beautiful green spaces.

In response to COVID-19, we are asking all volunteers to provide their own mask. We are also asking volunteers to provide their own landscaping gloves if possible. Please bring your own water and snacks and make sure to wear clothes you can get dirty in.

Find our info packet here for more information about what to expect as well as our 2 participation waivers!

We will meet in the parking lot of 476 Johnstone Drive. Parking is available in the red parking stalls or along Clarendon Avenue.

Once you RSVP, we will be reaching out to you with a more in depth info packet and two participation waivers.

Please email us at info@sutrostewards.org with any questions or concerns!
