Sutro Stewards and Hands On Bay Area - Sheltered in Place: the Backyard Series (Orientation)

This is the orientation for the project. Final share out of your findings will be on Wednesday May 27th at 11am. Participation in both days is required.

We are so excited to announce the launch of new virtual volunteer opportunity created in partnership with Hands on Bay Area. Sheltered in Place: the Backyard Series is an interactive, virtual opportunity where we challenge you to go out into your backyards or neighborhoods to learn about more about the plants that grow around you. 

We will supply you with all the textual resources needed for you to make your explorations. Then you gather the information necessary for 1-2 plant species and have the option to create video content of your chosen plants, or to take photos and do a write up of their findings for our blog.
