About the event
Come join the experts with our trail team for our Sutro Stewards Crew Leader Training Program and become part of the team! Learn the three main categories of crew-leading skills, technical skills and volunteer management skills. This training will be a mandatory 2 day event to maximize learning and handson engagement. Join us via zoom on 10/21 for a seminar on leadership and trail building knowledge. Then on 10/23 we will meet in person on Mount Sutro to practice your new found skills! As you progress through the training, you will have hands-on opportunities to learn trail design and construction techniques, and how to become prepared to supervise your own crew of volunteers.

In response to COVID-19, we are asking all volunteers to provide their own mask. Please bring your own water and snacks!
Wear clothes that can get dirty! Long pants and long-sleeved shirts to protect your legs and arms while working and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Some work areas may have poison oak and arriving in appropriate clothing limits exposure risk. If you have a known sensitivity, please alert a crew leader prior to starting work.
We will meet in the Aldea Center at 155 Johnstone Drive. Parking is available iin the red number stalled by the "Aldea Center Vistor Parking" signs.
