The palm tree is basically everywhere you go in California. From LA to San Francisco, you are bound to catch at least a couple palms here and there. Why is this tree so popular in California?
Because the climate of California can be considered “semi-tropical” the palm already has a great environment. Adding to the climate, the palm was introduced a long time ago, and has adapted so there even is a species called the California Palm. Being great even in the yard, many people began using it to decorate their gardens which increased the popularity. Adding to the fact that it has no major maintenance issues, the palm has becom very popular throughout California.
