Mexican Bush Sage

By: Nika Allison

Salvia leucantha, Commonly known as the Mexican Bush Sage, is a type of herb which is native to california, and is enjoyed by birds and butterflies! I’ve seen butterflies visit this plant a lot, and fly around surrounding it. This plant isn’t used in medicinal, or food purposes, but it’s all around a gorgeous plant to surround a home, and smells amazing! Mexican bush sage is an ornamental plant, sold solely for the use of decoration! It blooms from spring to fall! Overall while not surviving the most of a practical use, this plant is still something that can bring joy in daily life, and help people feel more connected to the outdoors!
