Winter Internships with Sutro Stewards

December 5, 2016

We are accepting applications for winter quarter internships with our Nursery and Conservation programs. Join the Sutro Stewards team to create urban recreational opportunities while practicing sustainable habitat conservation through stewardship!

Nursery interns learn about plant propagation, seed collection and processing, pre-germination treatments, up-sizing and transplanting, as well as general nursery maintenance. Nursery interns work in a hands-on environment at the Sutro Native Plant Nursery and also assist with leading volunteer activities. This is a great opportunity to learn local plant species as well as gain experience working in a nursery. Learn more & apply >

Conservation interns learn about restoration ecology, native and invasive plants, habitat monitoring, and more through a variety of conservation and restoration projects on Mount Sutro. Conservation interns also develop leadership skills assisting with guidance and oversight of activities during volunteer events. Dig in and gain hands-on field experience working on habitat improvement projects. Learn more & apply >

Visit the internships page to learn more about these opportunities and how to apply.
