Cole Valley Improvement Association awarded Sutro Stewards with a $1,500 Matching Grant running from September 12 - November 12, 2018. During that time, $6,000 was raised for trail and habitat improvements on Mount Sutro!
Donations fund trail improvements and habitat enhancements needed on Mount Sutro this winter. Projects include trail improvements to combat erosion and convey winter water flow in Woodland Canyon, a beautiful section of open space with winding trails on the east side of Mount Sutro. In addition to improving the physical trails for recreational users, habitat enhancements will be made through native plant installation to increase biodiversity and enhance wildlife habitat.
